yea but the whole purpose of MMA is to beat the shit out each other for entertainment.
Your missing the real point of Martial arts its not the brutality, hell its not even a sport.
Its the Art, the form the grace and style. That is why you dont see gung fu used.
all martial arts should know this that it shouldnt be used for picking fights but used to keep healthy and a healthy mind.
Theres no need for proving any style which is better, its whoever uses their arts best.

If you are a so called master "Zhang", then you would realize how silly your question is. Wushu IS chinese martial arts firstly, traditional, competitve included. Now almost ALL CMA have forms, so can you tell me how ANY of them are applicable in a fight? The answer is HOW YOU APPLY IT! When you watch their performance, you check to see if they conform to the principles of the movement, which stems from application. TAKE A GOOD LOOK AT THIS PERSON...GO LEARN SOME MORE PLEASE!

@jkeit1701 I believe the name of this form is "Wu Duan Quan." At least it looks a whole lot like it, very well done though. It's in the Chang Chuan System.

most people go into martial arts for the wrong reasons.... they want to know how to beat up a person! That's the worst way one can view martial arts. You will never get the full benefits- wisdom, true strength, longevity, respect- i hear people bash wushu everyday and i feel sorry for them. i realize they suffer from inferiority complex

@gotz2bk it IS long fist, there are many different types of long fist and is one of them. Its not the interntaional competition long fist, but its still long fist never the ness. 'Junior' long fist to be more correct, or 少年长拳
