Adobe Flash 10 on FreeBSD 8 (Fedora 10 compability and linux-f10-flashplugin). It works! Macromedia does not currently support the growing number of FreeBSD users.
Windows, Mac, Linux, Solaris. Where is FreeBSD?

  • @GreenMeanie101 AMEN ! after years of tinkering with all flavors of linux and bsd variants, it has become clear to me that *nix* should stay in the server world. it has no place on the desktop. after 20 + years it is still not ready for primetime and probably never will be. hardware issues, etc. useless slackbuilds, kernel recompiles, hdmi sound issues.. i'm too old. it's too much fucking work

  • Thanks gxbsd. I've just verified that this also works on FreeBSD 9-CURRENT (as of May 2011) and with Firefox 4.

  • Very nice tutorial I have configured flash for Opera in FreeBSD 8.1. THanks a lot it has been a great help to me. God bless u ;-)

  • All that to get Flash to work screw that!

  • @mojotail It's not that different from installing WINE.

  • I don't see the point, why not just install Linux instead of installing Linux inside of BSD to get a working desktop.

If you have to install the Linux kernel then it's not true BSD. x11 is crap

  • Dance to the beat :D->-<

  • Awesome music and a awesome Operating System

  • Sweet video

  • Very nice video, thank you!

p.s. What's the name of the song?? :-)
