@overmatik Yeah, they were all caught up in the grunge scene and they just aren`t aware that Billy Idol is not a one dimensional artist. Some people let image prejudge the true brilliance that artists like Billy Idol embodies.I think he was bold and courageous to put out the music that represents him. That`s actually the point . He doesn`t compromise his creative integrity and he never has. People only go by the popular songs but if they were to really get into him,they would be amazed.

This album is a masterpiece and the best Billy Idol album ever. Every listen generates new meanings and new interpretations. The fact it was slammed by the critics is only an indication of how revolutionary and groundbreaking it was. The majority of music critics are a bunch of musically uneducated morons, e. g. Robert Christgau. Hail to Cyberpunk!
