3rd performance from the original "Live At The Lighthouse" LP by Lee Morgan. Recorded live at The Lighthouse, Hermosa Beach, California, on July 1970. Musicians and instruments on the entire set : Lee Morgan, trumpet and flugelhorn; Bennie Maupin, flute, bass clarinet, tenor sax; Harold Mabern, piano; Jymie Merritt, bass; Mickey Roker, drums.

Ya gotta post some more and tell us what it was like. How many folks were there? Did you talk to Lee at all? What was the place like? I know it was near Hermosa Pier, which is a nice area, but give us some details! I love-love-love this album. I want some details on its making. Please share!

  • At first, if I had to guess who wrote the song I would of said Mingus.I just love that haunting introduction.I was waiting to see what was coming and the beginning suited the rest of the song.This is something I like to hear in the background while writing one of my poems.You did it again Roger.Great album...Enes
