This time, I show you what can you do with a BMW e46.
I have coded the alarm module for doing this:
- Beep and flashes on lock
- Beep and flashes on unlock
- High beam when the alarm is trigged
- Panic function that allows you triggering the alarm from remote key if you want.

  • @corelem Yes, you are right.

If you want this behavior, you need change GM5 config with NCS Expert using the values posted.

  • NCS-Expert tool

    Unlock QUIT_AKUST_ENTSCH - two beeps QUIT_OPT_ENTSCH - two flashes

    Panic Mode PANIK_MODUS ALARM_OPT_FERNLICHT - high beam

    Locking QUIT_AKUST_SCHAERF - one beep QUIT_OPT_SCHAERF - one flash

  • i assume that is with NCS

I don't know if your dealer could code that...

All the codings I show on my channel were performed by myself with a laptop and an interface.

I know that my dealer is able to enable the blinkers when locking and unlocking the car but not panic alarm mode, beeps or high beam when the alarm has been triggered.

Possibly, he ask you to pay half an hour of work... Only for blinkers.

    Thanks for watching

  • how much did it cost you to program/code the alarm at a dealer/mechanic?
