Oh no!
How is the vitamin B level in her feed... I've seen something like this before (muscle swelling and seeming to fall asleep on the hoof) caused by B deficiency. I think it was dealt with by upping the dry grain content of the feed, but alas, my knowledge about horse-care is anecdotal.
Hope she feels better.
