I can't claim to know that he was on drugs, but he probably was. The only part I object to is the health risks, if it didn't screw you up longterm then I would have no complaints, but if someone wants to make it in the olympics these days they have to be drugging it.

Intelligence is something that is mostly innate, we can only get as far as our natural limitations unless we use performance-enhancing drugs for the brain - why should we be limited by serendipitous genetics?

Remember this like it was yesterday, superb performance - totally psyched out his opponents. Knew he was going to win after the first 20, Linford's starts were never his best feature so when he was level from the off you knew it was his day. What made it even sweeter was his silencing the crowing Yanks, Burrell was a right gobshite, saying b4 the race how he was gonna win blah blah blah oh hang on I just got stuffed by a bloke old enough to be my dad. This was the peak of a fantastic career.

it is well-documented that Christie was the first sprint athlete to use creatine and the only sprinter in the final to be using it. It was, and still is, a perfectly legal supplement that enables athletes to maintain peak power output for longer hence why Christie was able to win by such a margin (the others couldn't maintain their top speeds)
