*Sigh* This commercial is a parody of a parody. Apple parodied the scene in the year 1984, from George Orwell's novel, called 1984. In 2008 (some time around then) Valve released a commercial for the release of Half-Life 2 on Mac.
I hope this clears up the confusion.
