May 20, 2009 Update

Lyme, Life, Etc. A lot has been going on and I'm struggling but hoping things will calm down a bit in the next few weeks.

This is my first time recording and uploading with my webcam which is easier to use in some ways but a pain in others. It's having issues with the audio so if anyone has suggestions please let me know. I'm new to the whole world of making these kinds of videos and really don't know how to do much with them.

so sorry things are hard right now. i have no idea how you keep up with your schedule; it sounds simultaneously wonderful and insane. it's good to hear that in general you're doing so much better than you were a few years ago.

& congrats on the new job! are you moving back to yr parent's town? it'll be nice to be able to live alone, for sure. & yay for less hours but equal pay. :) love!

Hey Heather! So good to be on here and get to connect with people in another way.

I'm moving back closer to my parents. Not back to the same town as them, although I'm actually moving back in with them for the summer while I save for a new car, but in the fall I'll be looking for an apartment somewhere nearby.

check amazon for sunproof clothing. they have some 30spf long sleeve shirts. i use spectra sunscreen by coppertone, it seemed to help last summer when i was on IV abx.

i miss theater and work. take care of yourself and watch out for the sun.

Thanks so much. I'm looking on Amazon as well as L.L. Bean this afternoon and trying to find a few good (and not too expensive) things to get to hopefully get me through the summer. The problem I have is that I overheat easily so I have to cover up but not overheat. I'm sure I'll figure it out and hopefully not end up looking like a lobster for too much of the summer.

Oh man, I know what you mean about sun sensitiviy. I was out in the sun for about 20 minutes last weekend and I fried. Never had a problem with this but nearly a solid year of taking Doxy has changed all that.. The backs of my knuckles on my right hand are so badly burned that I've started wearing gloves. Congrats on the new job. It sounds like rewarding and important work that you do. Continue to heal.
