Very nice job by slim Whitman. I never new he sang this song or that there were words for it. I just heard it by Andy williams about 10 minutes ago. It was very nice as well. I love this song by Mr. Acker Bilk.

I had this song on cassette; it was stolen from my car by a hitchhiker. I forgave him of course and would remind myself of the beautiful tune and lyrics by singing it to my fiancee. I still do not have a record a recording and would love to find one?

Heard many renditions of this song.. but had not heard this one. Marvelous rendition-- but who would expect anything less than "marvelous" from Slim?

this was a song that he played over and over again and he did sing this song in the clubs I will have to put some of his other country singers on youtube as well when i get a bit of time
