My thoughts on the little things that bothered me and how I feel about the Batman voice.

  • actually, if you watch the opening scene, you can see that the people are pretty far away from the joker, most of them are across the street. so the joker probably came out of the building for a minute, waited and then got picked up. its conceivable that no one could've noticed him.

  • @494ta Actually yes, that did occur to me. And that is conceivable. My complaint was under the impression that he had been waiting there for a while. If it were just for a minute, Joker could've gotten away with that I'm sure.

  • Love this video man. Completely agree with every point. People don't seem to get the reason why Bale uses the voice. It's not just to do with hiding his identity, there are psychological reasons behind it. Bruce Wayne has taken on another persona. The voice represents a different part of his psychology. I love the way Bale made it sound as if Bruce was posessed when he put on the suit. No matter what anyone says, Christian Bale is the best Batman ever. (Maybe co-sharing that title with Conroy)

  • To answer your question about "How I would have Batman's voice in Chris Nolan's realistic world..." I'd have it sound exactly as it did in BB. Perfect.

  • Firstly, nice Bruce Wayne hairstyle lol. Secondly, when he gets to Maroni, he NEEDS to get the info because Joker named Rachel next and he needs to stop him and so Wayne's irrational side overshadows Batman's cool approach and so he charges in just to get Maroni ASAP. Finally, I agree 100% on the voice thing, the Batman is a whole new persona, plus a person's voice is as unique as a fingerprint and Wayne speaks publicly and so EASILY he would've been caught out. Also, it's intimidation etc.

  • I thought there was a scene in Batman begins that explained his voice (it was one of the scenes where he was assembling his suit). There was a brief shot of his putting a device into the nose part of the mask (and so I assumed that was what transformed his voice). I could be wrong though :P

  • I just remembered something about your first criticism. When Batman and gordon talk in the bank vault, gordon shows him a CCTV shot of Joker and he says something like "hes not worried about showing his face"...so if anyone did see the joker at the start, who cares because they cant stop him

  • the only thing is that Nolan should have given two-face more screen time. and i didnt like the CGI on his face but its ignorable

  • no offense...but shut the hell up, you sound like a whiney girl. TDK was perfect

  • imperfections make life perfect in my opinion

  • @JoJoLePoteATaMere I prefer TDK. Much better
