I am getting close to the end of my electric go kart project . I need to make a few final connections, add some finishing touches, test it and then tear it down for paint.

Sorry to get back late. It did run but my controller was WAY too small so I am waiting until the spring to buy a new controller. That will cost some money so that's the only hold up.

Thanks I wanted it to hold up with 300lbs of battery and the driver etc.... It was a bit overkill but I learned in the process.

@amesweb What ever you do, DON'T USE Lithium Polymer!! They have a bad habit of expolding when used so long and heated.

you should check the web site called eigbattery they make special batteries for electric vehicles they are very thin batteries.
