I am getting close to the end of my electric go kart project . I need to make a few final connections, add some finishing touches, test it and then tear it down for paint.

  • Sorry to get back late. It did run but my controller was WAY too small so I am waiting until the spring to buy a new controller. That will cost some money so that's the only hold up.

  • Thanks I wanted it to hold up with 300lbs of battery and the driver etc.... It was a bit overkill but I learned in the process.

  • I will thanks. I am on a budget though or I would have gone with Li-poly.

  • Thanks 500. I have been on your chanel and read the posts. Looks like we are all waiting for another 500 post.

  • how did u make the frame

  • @amesweb So what's the deal did this thing ever run?

  • Your frame looks very solid. You could put elefants on it

  • @amesweb What ever you do, DON'T USE Lithium Polymer!! They have a bad habit of expolding when used so long and heated.

  • you should check the web site called eigbattery they make special batteries for electric vehicles they are very thin batteries.

  • Very cool project!
