@rodmanann Unfortunately, I no longer have the parts we used, and I can't recall where we got it from... :( I want to say we based it off of an arrangement that's available on 8notes, which we transposed to B-flat. (Youtube won't let me post the link, but you can search on the 8notes site) If that arrangement isn't suitable for what you need, most carols are in public domain, so there are tons of websites that offer free, legal Christmas sheet music downloads for various instrumentations.

I can see why they were confused. Your violin has a wonderful bass resonance to it. I believe you are playing in Bb, starting with D on the G string for your tremolo.

One thing in teaching music is that I suggest to my students to actually "own" the tune as if they wrote it. My dear young lady....YOU OWN THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE.

There were tears in my eyes (truly) by the end. You had the audience spell bound just by the way they reacted with the cheers. Nuture and hold dearly to your heart...your music!!!

This is by far my favorite Christmas song, and violin is my favorite instrument. So as you can imagine, listening to this definitely brought tears to my eyes. Absolutely beautiful.
