Update time and Lesson Raws!

So... someone who's seen my last few videos may ask:
"So Erin, why aren't you lessoning on Rio?!"

Well, Rio had an old soft tissue damage that flared up once we started working him. Our vet looked at all his old records, etc. and said that it'd take about a year to properly heal. Needless to say, about 3 week ago he went back home.

"Well then, who is this horse?"

My friend from Eq Team who also boards at our barn is super amazingly nice and is letting me lesson on her horse 1x a week, and hack her whenever she can't come out. :) So this is Bonnie, and she's AWESOME. She's so easy to jump and is a definite confidence builder.

"Ok ok... so how about Samson?"

We're still trying to find a home for Samson, and it still sucks that he has to go. But I've still been hacking him, taking him over poles, etc. and he's a happy camper! Loves that job so much more than jumping, showing, and all the "pressure" that goes along with that. He's still and always will be my baby.

OH! and the girl holding the dog is my sister... haha. She's not really a horse person. At all. But she's hilarious, she got all of the funny genes in the family. No joke (no pun intended. HA) And the dog's name is actually Tessi ;) My mom gets all the Jack Russell's mixed up.
