  • there it is!!! thanks a lot my guy...u definitely helped big time...keep up the good work too btw

  • @MickeyBarz4040 No problem and check out dj ruiner dot com for your sample needs. I'll have a video series on a to z beat making with logic too to take the guess work out of logic. I'll keep everyone updated. Glad I could help.

  • Hey thanks a lot for your feedback it helped me somewhat.I really appreciate it first and foremost...But i did a shytty job trying to explain my essential problem...So let me rephrase the question... So say that you have a lil melody like a ear candy kind of piece that is only played a couple times throughout each verse, do you make the loop and drag it all throughout the song? or actually rerecord the loop at each part of the song you want the sound at?...since i should never copy and paste..

  • @MickeyBarz4040 Well what I was saying is that instead of using the Edit menu and Copy or command-c, use option-drag to copy... it's more efficient. You can just keep option-dragging it to make additional copies. Or if you want it through the whole song simply drag from the top right of the midi region how long you want it and then press either command-L or control-L (I cant remember which one, its like muscle memory now) to convert them into real copies. Hope that helps!

  • First of all, don't "copy and paste". Click on the midi region and hold option then drag it. BUT, First make sure snap to grid is enabled. Make sure at the top of arrange where it says Snap on the top right it's set to "Smart" and it will correctly apply it in time to the grid. And automation sucks, double the tracks Command-D and adjust the volume. Automation sucks especially if you are going to send it out to be mixed or mastered. Hope that helps.

  • ,,...like loop never lines up and it won't let me line it up either

  • HEY bro @djruinerdotcom....im having trouble with my loops like extending them across the song gracefully. What I mean is...say i have a loop that played in the first verse and then i want to repeat it in the 2nd or 3rd verse...instead of dragging it all through out the song and using automation to lower the volume of the loop during the part i don't want it being played how do i copy and paste efficiently? every time i copy and then try to paste it... it never pastes going with the beat....

  • @busariab you have to upload that track to a mastering template and theres tutorials on how to maximize volume with out peaking out on youtube
