Age of Empires 2 Playthrough: Joan of Arc campaign level 1

The first level of the Jeanne D'Arc campaign.

This is a very easy level, probably one of the easiest (not counting the tutorial levels), but nonetheless a fun one. I like this level mostly because you have no base of your own and this means you have to be alot more strategic then in levels with a base, well oke, it's not like you can really lose in this mission, but still it's a pretty good map.

Now, about the Joan of Arc campaign. It is one of the most annoying and tedious campaigns in Age of Empires ever. Some of the missions aren't really tough, but it just takes so much time to build up a reasonable base, make a force large enough to wipe out an entire enemy base including a castle and then, you need to rebuild your army again, because after the first base it isn't strong enough to destroy another, but more on that later.

There are 2 things that this campaign and the previous one (William Wallace) have in common: British enemy's and really thick French/Scottish accents.

WOW!when i saw the ambuscade,i marhced to the left and put All my units into boats,went on an island,found more soldiers then returned and crushed the ambuscade!You only saved th heroes!

@halowars1324 Non mais je suis français aussi t'inquiètes, je me moque juste des clichés que peuvent avoir les anglo-saxons sur nous ;)

Quant à ce cliché des américains que les français ont pas de couilles ça doit venir de la défaite de 1940, mais venant d'un pays qui a attendu 3 ans et un bateau explosé pour intervenir, c'est assez cocasse....
