Balance Druid Vanilla WoW 1 Shotting Everyone

Just found this on my old computer. This was filmed back in vanilla WoW a couple of months after Ahn'Qiraj came out - this druid had the best balance gear available at the time, with a mix of AQ and BWL spell damage gear. I made this right before I quit WoW for a while (of course, I returned multiple times) to showcase that good gear and good buffs can be incredible for balance druids in pvp (at the time, almost all druids were resto).

A couple of things to note:

1. Yes I know I was a newb clicker and my UI sucked. But you gotta remember back then only arena was the monthly tournament in Gurubashi Arena, and there was no balance druid PvP gear or resilience.

2. 3k and 4k might not seem like much, but back then this damage was pretty incredible. As you see in the video, most players did not have above 4k health, and tanks probably had around 6k health.

3. This video had been uploaded to google video and had quite a few hits before being taken down for copyright issues.

4. Yes the editing is terrible I know lol.

As an old vanilla-only player, I always loved those kind of vids, especially when it come to be some rare spec playing. Balance druid where obviously rares, because imo this spec have always been underestimated cause of behing an hard spe to run (this guy is using cloth stuff, wish is enough to show it's not a standard spe to run).

P.S. Is there any chance you could link the talent build of this guy?

Y but w/o that aq40, bwl gear etc you would not hit more than 1k, also as a feral dmg is very low aswell.

@kionay druids ´were underpowered as feral til now, but warriors are still underpowered but that doesnt matter because feral druids can just go Alpha druid mode(Hengest Mode) and own everythings face

i remember starting in vanilla, looking through the wow handbook to try to figure out what class i wanted ( while waiting hours to install WoW ) i saw that druids could "shapeshift" and actually become a bear and shit

i was like, where do i sign up? HA, i started vanilla wow as a feral druid, and i have remained feral druid ever since, too bad feral druids have sucked all the way up til cata :-|
