Miguel Najdorf? what happened to David Bronstein, Vassily Smyslov, Emmanual Lasker? Miguel Najdorf? The only thing I remember about Najdorf is the Najdorf variation of the Sicilian Defense.

Please don't fool urself ppl..they compete in the same rating system. The fact is Kasparov is the strongest. Unless they can acomplished what Kasparov have done as the world champion, defend it, and as the world No.1 for over than 20 years. Fischer, Capablanca, Alekhine, or whoever including me and you as the greatest chess player ever is only in their fanboy's dreams and fantasies. And yes, today's chess players are stronger than the past ones, it's very logical.

fischer had a great talent, but also a big ass
-
if Capa spent half amount of time for chess as Fischer did, he would be unbeatable
-
for me number one is X .for me number one is Y. ...stop dreaming! see the numbers and facts! KASPAROV is number one!!

I wonder if I can get a Spassky wig. Greatest hair ever!

Apart the fact that you put morphy above karpov and kasparov...
You put najdorf and not B-O-T-V-I-N-N-I-K or S-M-Y-S-L-O-V.
Plz be serious

Common, Najdorf ?????? are you kidding ????

Dear Sir/Madam,
I really think you ought to rename this list as 'my favourite chess players of all time'. To include Najdorf ahead of Lasker, Botvinnik or even Paul Keres is quite ridiculous, and there is also a clear anti-European or maybe anti-Soviet bias in placing the 3 american champions ahead of everybody else..........nevertheless, thanks for posting!
