I know this is an old video and you've likely long remedied this situation, but in case someone else has the same concern:
I think the simplest/most accessible thing to do re: your videos would be to just convert them to a usable file using a free online converter or, if necessary, a downloadable program (which, IME, likely won't be free). It's an extra step and a pain, but it doesn't require buying software or a new camera.
