America is meant to be run by the people, not the government. Supporting the government is not patriotic in any way. All military personnel should remember that their oath was to the constitution, not blindly following orders by the government.

Al Gore: Pied Piper for the Carbon Credit Crusade
Al Gore brings emotional fervor to his carbon crusade He travels the country displaying charts&graphs quoting scientific experts& appealing to philosophers&religious leaders to save the planet from global warming But he says nothing about his business partners who yearn to trade on the emerging carbon market And the media pay no attention to the companies offering carbon advisory services that will profit from federal carbon emission controls

Very well said!!! I totally agree!

Many of those people dying young of cancer are in Africa and it is due to being forced to use wood-burning stoves in huts with poor ventilation. The government's beg to be able to use conventional energy and the f#!#ing environmentalists are forcing them to use expensive solar energy. Of course, they can't afford it so the problem continues. And you have clinics with one solar panel that can EITHER run a light bulb OR the refrigerated medicine cabinet. UNFORGIVABLE!

We have just purchased a Solar Hot water system Cost $6000. The Government paid a subsidy of 1000 to the installer corp for selling the 15 credits to them for $437 dollars . The carbon credits on this unit were 15 carbon credits worth $30000 I have Just found that carbon credits traded in bulk are worth $2000 each. What a fucking scam. So what our government has done is said thet any hotwater service has to be replaced with a Solar unit. Our old one still worked the Instalers cut it in half.

on the corporate/government level its a chance for politicians and private business to open a whole new horizon for fraud--especially when you put a 'green' stamp on it--the average person wouldn't touch the tip of understanding the labyrinth route that subsidized monies take before they even do any real 'offsetting'--its another enron/ponzi scheme where strong oversight will happen after some big corporation or government gets exposed for massive scale fraud

economically speaking this carbon credit movement can be compared to buying indulgences for your so called 'environmental sins'--as with religion its all guilt based and i agree that politics is clouding the issue--the average person should not be hounded into feeling guilty for their impact on the environment when corporations and politicians like al gore are shamefully more wasteful and hypocritical in their lifestyles that impact our environment
Google Global Warming or Global Governance for a great documentary on this subject.
