this is hands down the best waffle you can get...even better than belgium itself. the dough is perfectly dense but spongy and chewy enough to give that sastisfying feeling. if you like only the crisp light waffles, this is not for you. get the mixed berry topping. it is heavenly. perfect for any time of day.

    60 000 people speak German, not 500 000 !!!

And don't forget another 900 000 FRench speakers :90% of a million people who live in Brussels.

  • @krizla4

mijn moeder is Vlaams en mijn vader is Waals. ik ben Belgisch.

Ja ik weet dat de taal Dutch en niet Flemish is. Mijn fout!

  • yep, more Flemish than French and certainly German but Flemish is a language!! And i don't have problems with the comunities because my dad is Walon and my mum is Vlaams, en vlaams is GEEN hollands!! And I started a Waffle business in New Zealand, with an half Flemish and half English name WAFEL 4 U.

  • @daddyOi

nope, 6 MILLION SPEAK DUTCH, 3,5 million french and 500 000 german, kzal 't toch wel weten, check wiki :)

  • @kvmusic

actually 'flemish' is not a language ... it's dutch that we speak in Flanders, Just like in Holland, Aruba, south africa and Surname... i'm flemish

  • @krizla4

they call it Le Petit Belge and not De Kleine Belg because they want to sell waffles.

The owners are from Antwerp but they know people will relate to a French name.

Nobody speaks Flemish, get over it.

  • That's not true, only a small minority speaks german, half (the nord) of belgium speaks Flemish (not dutch) and the other half(the south) speaks French.

    I know, I m belgian ;o)

  • Why do they call it "le petit Belge"?

You shoudl call it "De kleine belg" because the majority of Belgians speak Dutch ... only a minority speaks French or German ...

It doesn't make sense that they call it French ...

By the Way "Luikse Wafels" (waffles from Luik/Liège) are way different than Brusselse Wafels (waffles from Brussels). So your comment in htis video where you say Liege Brussels Belgium on one sentence ... hmmm, you might reconsider that ...
