White screen of death iPhone 3GS iOS 4.1

This is the problem of my iphone 3gs. Now it display a white screen when i reboot. usually it give this problem when i receive a sms or an email,or sometimes when i receive an incoming call.

i have the white screen on my phone to but it is allways there. i tryed to reset it but it doesn't go to the apple logo it just brings up the same white screen! wtf can you help?

replace the lcd or it could be a faultly ribbon cable. (loose wire)

1) open your iphone

2) remove the baterry

3)put back the baterry

4) restore

5) enjoy ! :))

white screen its a hardware problem and not software

my iphone works fine the touch and i can get the calls but every with white screen...

i need buy a new display only?
