A giant spider beast - big black spider with yellow markings in a large web. I found this giant arachnid in Thailand as I walked on a jungle path up a mountain. This spider is big, black and yellow and moved slowly. Couple nice photos at: Thaipulse.com/blog too. Got another arachnid video - a small scorpion will post shortly here.

  • Gorgeous spider. The general rule, the larger and narrower the spider gets, the lesser the danger. Not that spiders are generally to be feared. It's the smaller ones with an Ozzie background.... and the ones in Brazil that should be feared.

  • @Gallorenth Best comment ever lol.

  • it`s a Nephila clavata... these spiders are big, but harmless. their nets can reach a span up to 90cm! mah uncle sent meh pictures of a Nephila with a fresh net, in which a japanese kaiser-hornet was catched... the spider just loled... :D
