Small video of me flying my HK-450 (Trex clone) in 20 knots of wind.
Quite stable for a 450 size heli.

Heli has Hk alloy head & Tail gearbox,HK 325mm carbon blades, flown on 3s, using a Hobby King 6 channel 2.4 ghz system and an Assan Gy-410 pro heading hold gyro.

  • More vids to come.....This heli is awesome in fast forward flight, I have loops, rolls & flips sorted...Working on Piro flips atm....I'm at the half piro flip stage, just need to work on my timing a bit more.

Also I've gone back to the plastic tail case, there is too much slop in the HK alloy one.

  • @tomokichija525 if it isn't stable doesn't that mean you need to dial the gyro gain down a bit?

  • Great flight!

What rudder servo are you using?

    My heli doesn't stable.

  • now to hover up from the car xD

  • An American playing German style techno music. Thumbs up, cool.

  • @74Rossco I have moved back to the plastic one, too. Slop both between the bearings and the case, and in the bearing itself, AND between the bearing and the shaft.

  • Hey great video, would love to see more. I am just getting into the hobby myself.

  • i see you have the hk 7x transmitter can you make a vid on how to do good setup hor a 450 heli if i have the same tail servo but when i want to fly my servo moves to one way or it moves just one way

planes are cheaper to get started on but need more space to fly, rc helis cost more but you can fly it in a 4x4 meter spot if learning all you really need is a space as big as a gym hall or parking lot, but flying in wind makes it tricky,

also helis take more dedication to learn, planes are good too, but dont get out of your budget, and look around and research on what others think,

the net is your freind here..
