Captain GiO and Pam decided to take Pegasus, a 1986 MK1 36 foot Catalina Sailboat, from Vancouver to Comox, British Columbia via the Northern Gulf Islands during the stormiest parts of a really cold spring.

Most of the trip was downwind sailing but this vlog features the passage where the South East fronts really developed and we experienced the hardest to weather leg of this sailing captains life.

False bay on Lasqueti Island was our go to hole in the storm. Denman, Hornby and Texada Islands are the background landscape in this gale warning storm watching sailing clip.

Extreme Salish Sea - Georgia Straight, British Columbia, Canada sailing at its best.
