Two minutes later a female was hunkered down ready to spring at us. She leaped at us and we both reflexively jumped back. My hubby touched the fence behind us where a male lion was ready to sniff ( and maybe bite) his hand. They had it all figured out before we got there! I think it had happened before with other stupid white people doing the same thing!!

I had the same experience in a zoo in west Africa. The country was poor and the zoo not modern, so the lions were kept in a cage that was made entirely of hurricane fencing. It was in two parts with a "hallway" of fencing down the middle for the zoo workers to feed and service the lions. The workers were hunkered down eating lunch from a large bowl (yum, peanut sauce over rice!) so wer slipped them a fiver to let us go into the 'hallway'.

they put this lion appart for feeding, because he would fight with the other lions for his food. thats why he is in a little cage. AND THIS CAMERAMAN IS SO STUPID AND GOES TO THAT LION AND FILMS HIM WHILE HE IS EATING? they're the most dangerous when they're eating, idiot.
