Part 2 of the 24 hour attempt. After arriving in the dark at Tyndrum at 02:10 on the 17/6/2011 the boys had a 3 hour nap in the car park of the Green Welly shop. They set off at 06:20 and passed Bridge of Orchy @ 07:10. There were dear grazing beside thye Victoria bridge at Inveroran at 07:45. 09:25 was the arrival time at the Glencoe Ski centre where we got some good shots of Buachaille etive mor. The weathe had changed and the rain was beginning to fall although visibility was not badly affected. The dreaded "Devils staircase was started at 10:00 with an arrival in Kinlochleven at 11:25. After a change into fresh clothing and a tidy up in the Kinlochleven public toilets which had , toilet paper, hot and cold running water, soap and hand tiowels they set off on the final leg of 14 miles to Fort William which started with an 800 fot climb nout of Kinlochleven. I cycled up from Fort William to the top of the hill about 4 miles from the finish on my own bike which was being used as a spare, just in case. The boys made good time arriving in Fort William at 14:40 it would have been 10 minutes earlier but they were waiting for me at the bottom of the descent into Glen Nevis. Unfortunately I missed a turn and cycled past them and was waiting in the car park and phoned to see why they were not there.

The boys did well. The were very tired though as they both left their house and car keys in my motor after being dropped off.
