  • Hey I also have a 1000 and I did exactly what you did in the video, and it's still not working, any advice?

  • @CAPTKANUCK what's wrong with it? like what problem are you having?

  • does this work for psp 3000 i have a orange light but when i turn the psp on the grenn light comes on but nothing happens please reply

  • @TheToby505 If the psp's green light comes on, flashes and then shuts off, then the psp is bricked, if the orange light comes on when you charge it, but you can't turn it on its most likely this problem. If the green light comes on and you can hear the psp but can't see anything you should check the wiring behind the LCD screen make sure the ribbons are fastened securely (I had that problem for a lil bit lol, thought my screen was busted).

  • Sir you have earned yourself a like and a favorite I love you you fixed my psp when it's been like this for over 3 years

  • @gansterx3 glad I could help, and I feel your pain it was about 2 years it was like this for me xD

  • @AoiMitsuko Ok, i went to a friend of mine, and he unscrewed it for me. Yeah, i was using the wrong screwdriver. And the problem was the power switch as i thought, but not the switch itself like in this case, we had to turn it on using screwdriver by touching circuits and it worked. I think i should buy a new one for 3 pounds i think. I have psp 1004 (i thought it was 1003). Could you pm me with link to ebay with the right part?

  • @vytautas5100 well you want to make sure you're using the right size screwdriver and make sure its a philips head. Best bet is to use one from like an eyeglasses kit. If you turn the screw and its just not budging.. you might not have a choice but to use a bit of pressure. If the screwdriver just turns and isn't catching you might have to look for a flat-head the same size or the top of the screw might be stripped, if that's the case dunno what to tell ya, i'm not really an expert with tools

  • Hi. I have the psp 1003, same problem with the switch (i think), another problem is that i cant unscrew it. I dont want to use force on it. What should i do?

  • @xhalcyon08 you're very welcome, glad it helped ^^
