This Kaka, an endangered parrot native to New Zealand, was sitting on my washing line when I got home from work. At first I was afraid he would get scared off. Nope. Here is this lovely bird and me chilling out. A short snippit from over 10 minutes of footage :)

My flat is a stones throw away from Karori Wildlife Sanctuary. I can often hear these guys screeching about in the big tree next to my house. My flatmate saw two of them hooking up. Spring is in the air.
