  • Actually, majority of dogs will NOT "naturally" protect their owners. Also, Pit Bulls were not bred to battle people so it takes a much different method to make them a true personal protection dog compared to a GSD or Mal etc.

  • very nice dog, nice work too. do you breed?

  • Thank you and yes, I have occasional litters.

  • tellus how you do it dontput music on just talk and tell us how can we train our dogs

  • very obedient but in my opinion most dogs like this will protect their master and family without needing the aide of bite training, however ivy is a fine example of training, and i wish so many more people would do so with their dogs. congratulations on such a wonderful dog

  • amazing I want to learn to do this

  • @ragerazor Oh okay.I know what you mean.Ive seen a female pit bull protecting her owner from a swat team. They are not very territorial but more be pretty good protection dogs.I'd still prefer a bigger dog for protection though.

  • @wolvesruleduh You realize a dog's size has nothing to do with the strength of their grip right?

  • @bluegama500

Pitbulls can make great PROTECTION dogs. Protection is guarding the OWNER, a person.

A Guard dog guards PROPERTY, something a pit could generally care less about.

So no, Pits aren't very good guard dogs (if no one is home). But they can be excellent family protectors.

  • What type of collar is that ???

  • is that a mastiff no its a tiny pitbull

  • pitbulls can be guard dogs?arent they too friendly with people?
