An amazing pleasure right here for anybody with internet to access, and people are getting caught up in the music categories. I love YouTube.
-
@sonicpacker Yet you play Mario's games...?
-
Glad you enjoyed it =)
-
@sonicpacker I suppose you're right. I guess when people correct minor things, it bothers me. I'm not sure why. The best analogy I can think of to help explain where I'm coming from is, imagine you're on an FPS forum, and every time someone says something along the lines of "i love this new sniper!", someone else has to come in and say "SNIPER refers to a person, SNIPER RIFLE is the gun!". IDK, I just find that annoying..but either way, I enjoy the song, and I'm sorry for the argument. Nice TAS.
-
Just because it's pointless to you does not make it pointless to others. I wasn't saying it to increase said superiority complex. I was simply correcting them because they were discussing it. You're blowing this completely out of proportion IMO, but whatever.
-
@sonicpacker But correctly informing the misinformed about something that makes no difference and serves only to increase your superiority complex IS being a pretentious douchebag.
-
Last time I checked, correctly informing the misinformed isn't being a pretentious douchebag.
-
@sonicpacker You're right, I do call it techno, and that is incorrect. So why do I do it? Because I'm using the most generally accepted term to categorize the music. See, I like it when people understand what I'm trying to say. I don't like being a pretentious douchebag. That's where we differ.
-
I don't think you get it. Techno is a specific kind of electronic music. Yet you (and most people) seem to want to call electronic music "techno." I'm guessing because it's made with technology or something. Either way, "techno" is not techno. "Techno," as you call it, is electronic music. That's not even categorizing it beyond the widest term possible. You are just blatantly incorrect by calling it techno.
-
All I'm saying is if this song came on the radio and someone was like "oh yeah this is a sick techno song!" and you were like "NO YOU FUCKFACE IT'S TRANCECORE DUMBASS" you'd probably get the shit beat out of you.
-
@sonicpacker It is nitpicking, because only .01% of the population have sticks far enough up their asses to give a shit if they sound different. For the general public, techno is techno, and taking it past that level of categorization is just stupid and unnecessary.
-
I've honestly never seen this star TASed before. Good job!
-
It isn't nitpicking. If you think this:
/watch?v=3QOGoilEKhA
sounds anything like this:
/watch?v=prGrjXvYNHc
then you are lacking something in the mental department.
-
You are an important part. In the Super Mario 64 TAS history.
-
Nice improvement sonicpacker! It looks a lot better too.
-
Wow that was quick!
-
either way, it's a sick song ;)
-
@sonicpacker they all sound the same to me, because i don't take my music way too damn seriously.
but to each his own, if you like nitpicking, keep nitpicking
-
Awesome fight strat! Half a second is a hell of an improvement for a single TAS!
-
And if you knew the differences between them, you would realize that they aren't "the smallest little genre differences." Thanks for commenting though.
-
I wasn't freaking out. Hardstyle and Techno sound nothing like this (and nothing like each other). And it's all electronic, not techno.
-
@sonicpacker honestly, you're one of those people? who freak the fuck out over the smallest little genre differences? for fuck's sake, it's all techno, get over yourself
-
@non5en5e but isn't that like 21 000 re-records too much?? i mean, if he had done it right the first time, he woudn't have needed to do it several hundred...
-
@mariosunshinefaan no it's not. Brian use 22k rerecords in 29,87 in his bits tas XD.
@killer340 No way. SP never lies; No lies.
