I think someone ought to write a really creepy prequel to this film that fully explores the life and sinister backstory of Jonathan Fletcher all the way from his childhood up to his mysterious death or disappearance in the 1950's. If done right i think it would make a really spooky and truly unsettling psychological/supernatural horror film that would be way scarier than Dead Silence.

Fanfiction would be nice you know, Emmerich should do it since it could be supernatural/psychological horror than horror-fantasy like this one

Yes, i was completely on the edge of my seat during this scene when i first saw it in the theater.

It defintely is an intense scene and i don't understand why they had to cut this movie to ribbons when it first came out? i guess New World loved to cut foreign movies for theaters and sometimes alter them. They did the same thing to Nausicaa in the 80's with Warriors of the Wind and that was a good cut despite the film having a decent dub, i did sent you that cut here. The dummy sounds more darker here.
