african cultural music and dance ghana. Here we perform parts of African percussion music and dance from Ghana. The rhythm and dance is called Adjagbeko, the fast version. The ewe ethnic performs this rhythm and dance in their festival Hobotsotso. They often perform this in honour of their great ancestors. Its a war dance, which now a days is performed in a positiv way, remembering and appreciation.
The performing group, Wings of a dove, shows African traditional percussion cultural music and dance on the CD release concert of Peter John Kofi Donkor. You can order and buy this CD now on the homepage. Its members are professional musicians and dancers, who are formal members Mustapha Tettey Addeys group, Dance Ensembel, Panafrican Orchestra, Cultural Ballet, People's cultural group in Ghana. They teach African music and dance all over the world.
Some members are: Abass Dodoo, Dennis Kofi Adorsoo, Kofi Gayitsu, Victoria Atsu, Nana Kwesi Ansong.
