The ewe ethnic performs this rhythm and dance in their festival Hobotsotso. They often perform this in honour of their great ancestors. Its a war dance, which now a days is performed in a positiv way, remembering and appreciation.
The performing group, Wings of a dove, shows African traditional percussion cultural music and dance on the CD release concert of Peter John Kofi Donkor. Its members are professional musicians and dancers, who are formal members Mustapha Tettey Addeys group, Dance Ensembel, Panafrican Orchestra, Cultural Ballet, People's cultural group in Ghana. They teach African music and dance all over the world.
