is this taken from the CD that's available (a rerecording)? Or is it somehow ripped from the DVD? Because I've been looking for a CD of the original recording but can't find one?

a fabulous tune which brings the very essence of the old West, amazing how even the music alone brings a mental image of cattle drives and cowboys.

Does anyone anywhere know the lyrics to this song...I have seen the movie countless times but can't make them out. And I can't find them anywhere. All I can make out is "Goin' to Missouri we're goin' to Missouri..." then it's just "blah blah blah blah blah" to me. I'd actually like to sing it at an open mic.

Both "The Searchers" and "Red River" are great in their own way. I also like "Rio Grande" one of the three John Ford movies about the US Cavalry
