This record, 'Santana III', was released in 1971, not 1979. It was the first Santana record to feature Neil Schon, guitar, later of Journey. (Schon, along with Gregg Rolie, Santana's keyboardist, formed Journey) The Legacy Edition remaster is excellent.
A Tiengo De Nadie. I ain't got nobody I that can depend on. A line that describes me, I stubbornly refuse help. Love Carlos Santana since 1977 and still does.

Some of Carlos' studio cuts are just the best. This is a great example of a song that is better than any live version I have heard.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but do I detect a little bit of Martin Denny's influence in Mr. Santana's music? I can! Great!

I bought this album when it came out in 1971
Abraxas came out in 1970
Santana came out in 1969
Regardless, it's a great record!
