Dash covers protect your dashboard from the harsh UV rays that the sun emits. They also hide dust bunnies that eventually settle on an uncleaned dash. The issue is that some dashes are so reflective that you can't see out of the windshield because of the reflection when the sun hits it. I just bought a new Camry and it was an overcast day, but the first sunny day I thought I was going to have an accident, there are other brands that have more color matching covers. I hated the idea but it turned into a must have. This video was NOT a how to..but did you really watch it because you couldn't figure out how to install a carpet pad with velcro?

@dwade931 its really not all that bad, only if you get it in the wrong color that match your car. besides that it help against crack dash board due to the sun, prevent sun glare.
