Oh Riley, why so silly?

So, in case it wasn't clear in the video...
The idea is to press up a deck with the ends turned up like... 30*.
And then, We just put our truck on... Backwards, so its the 30* minus the 17* baseplates
and we get 13* kingpin angles, and like a 1" drop.

You're bending the wood SO much less for the same drop, Saving So much more of the wheel base for standing platform, and less of it as transitional space.
I found it REALLY hard to make a 1" drop freeride board because 6" of of the boards length was taken up by the drop, and in order to have an adequate standing platform I ended up with a wheel base of 36" when we're wanting a base of 32".

And lastly, because all the shapes are concave, it simplifies making the press.

We're cleverly using the wedges to REDUCE the turning angle, where the time machines goal is to INCREASE.

so there is no drag you could make the edges a angle by grinding them down

We typically cut the edges at a 45, or route them to help with the problem.

its actually a good idea! some 0*baseplate trucks on a 50* wedged board
