This is great. I've never heard this song before. Obvioulsy Glam Rock was on the way out by then so they jumped on the disco bandwagon. Only problem is Disco totally collapsed in 1980. I love Disco, it has beat, base, strings and you can actually dance to it. Great stuff. Disco is on the rise again too. Better than any of this R&B, blingy blingy lets kill rape and mame everyone trash that seems to dominating the charts these days.

LOL @ Noel "speaking German"... he's pretending to speak Russian, and it's nothing to do with being a German repeat or anything like that. This is how it went out in the UK. Noel does stupid things like that if there's no one around to stop him...

It's like a breath of fresh air seeing Mud perform this song! One of the few Mud hits I don't have burned into my brain. Excellent stuff - they really move. Pity they only had one more hit after this, Lean On Me. Great, great 70s band.

How come Edmonds is speaking 'german!' at the beginning and the chart rundown is damaged by a BBC master tape with no audio. althoughly the edition is uncut.
Also it happened to the 7/10/82 edition which was "shown" on UK Gold in the mid 90's and 1 copy is shit, 1 copy is okay.

The chart rundown isn't damaged, I just edited it out.
Is it "german" at the beginning? I thought it's Chinese :)
