2011 Artown Festival, June 30-July 31

Known for pushing the artistic boundaries, this year Artown participating artists continue to expand the festival's reach by taking their own performances and exhibits to a higher level. Stretching to 32 days beginning with Opening Night June 30 and concluding July 31, Artown reinvents itself yet again for its sweet 16 with new performances, dynamic artist influences, unique events, expanded outreach outside the Reno city limits and nearly 400 choices. Headline performances include Pink Martini with opening act MarchFourth Marching Band, Doc Severinsen and the San Miguel Five and Stephen' Petronio's "UNDERLAND." Details at renoisartown.com
