Paul Saywood; Op. 9, no. 6 June Parties

The month where the barbeque gets dusted down, friends arrive for the weekend, the drinks follow the carcinogenic food, men fooling around, ladies in their summer frocks, the fluffy clouds break up the blue sky, everybody is happy.

Then the clouds suddenly darken, water starts to tip from the sky, all are drenched that don't take cover.
Mother Nature then throws in a few claps of thunder, but soon moves onto the next town, and the next garden party, leaving our guests to enjoy the rest of the day.
