I agree completly. June is stunning and has brilliant coloratura. However for this role...for me her voie is too...light and pretty and lacks teh dramatic power. But still....a great interpretation ^_^

@lucca54 renee's coloratura isnt is refined (shes not a coloratura specialist) but flemings voice type is much more appropriate than junes for this role. Armida is a asoluta role, which demands power and nice sound down low, something fleming excels at, but June has always lacked.
