You want doomsday...wait until Yellowstone blows, which hopefully we won't see in our lifetime, we'll feel the effects halfway around the world. Or there is a volcano of Africa, if it blows, will create a tsunami which will be so big, it will take out a large area of the east coast of the US.

I remember that fish and bird story, man that was strange. I don't foresee the end of the world, however the Mayans did say that when their calendar will come to an end (which it will this year) a big change would happen (not the end of the world), which they predicted before during their lifetime which did happen. This weird weather, overpopulation of the human race, current economic climate, global warming, Japanese earthquake/tsunami etc... its already happening.
