@somethingvs Yes, one is for PS3 and the other is for PC. I have Wings of Prey too. This game here is for PS3.

@supermankicass the thing is it's not anything close to a simulator. you just flat spin when you bank left or right.

This game doesn't look like it sucks, plus after reading a couple of reviews, they said that the players UNLOCK harder difficulties after playing the lighter difficulty which is the arcade style flight. THEN the game gets interesting and you can play the realistic flight simulator everyone wants.

@articarrows No,Unfortunately this one and the new one i mean cliffs of dover are completely for arcade lovers. for real, no realism at all,the first il2-sturmovik and its expansions are still the best for realism. Im still playing the oldest one with patches and deleted all the new released bullshits. their graphics maybe cool but somehow the planes look like plastic toys lol. i dont advice you to get this.

@Metalicalypse doesn't simulator mode have some realism? i was thinking of getting this coz i wanted a game with a first-person view and thats more or less realistic (no unlimited ammo, realistic plane handling etc)

Love the Spitfire Mk 1 and the Me 109E in this game. The Russian and American planes are awful. I was particularly dissapointed with the Mustang. It is so bad I actually cant use it without immense frustration. Not sure if this its true to life or not. But in this game, it is awful...

I've disappointed when saw theres no realism in this game :(
But hey I'm waiting for Storm of war or cliffs of dovers or whatever its name. I hope they do make something like il2-1946.
