Not to hate,but if you are on a site called expert village you should probably be and expert. I am very well versed in bells and this was not expert form. It wasn't GS or Hardstyle. I don't know what this was honestly. If you call yourself an expert then you shouldn't be someone that dabbles in the tool.

Actually, I haven't tried kettlebells yet so I am just guessing from watching videos....I will withold my comments until I try them for a while. Thanks for the info.

@Ronin6575 the fact that the weight lies more on the forearm w/ a kettlebell vs. above the wrist with a dumbell, means that you have to keep your wrist tense and strong to even support the weight, and your forearm gets reciprocal work (the underside of your forearm gets worked) and that leads all the way into your tricep and into the lats, so your system of stabilizing muscles is much more than that of a dumbell, where your completely dependant on your wrist to keep the weight steady.

@ForceBehindTheThrone It just seems to me that if you are lifting them and flexing or extending your writsts while lifting, you are placing a strain on the joints during certain moves that might lead to injury more that a dumbell would.

@Ronin6575 if by stress you mean make stronger, then yeah they dont do that. not to mention the geometrics to how the kettlebell works the muscles is more efficient than dumbells. and you can do more excercises...FULL body excercises.

The hate mostly comes from people who have not tried them. Those bells are tools. I can tell you right now : You do not need a barbell, dumbbell, whatsoever. Take a tree and and grass ground and I can teach you everything with bodyweight. But i use kettlebells, dumbbells, barbells as well. Tools are tools for certain reaons. Barbells = Maximal Strength. Dumbbells = More versatile than the BB. Kettlebell = Ultimate Tool for Strength endurance and Work Capacity/GPP.
