  • Capitalist system designed? Isn't the beauty of the Western systems that they are not "designed"? Power and wealth has moved increasingly to the top over the past thirty years. That is class warfare and is profoundly anti-democratic. Why does the media only invoke "class warfare" when the upper class is criticised, not when the upper class successfully attack those below? Look at that group of employees - they attack their own class... class cannibalism, caused by class warfare from above.

  • Oh, poor Jeff---So Wall Street pillaging of America is "tradition" while working people's fighting back is "class warfare." Wall Street has ALWAYS been hurting this country for its own greedy ends, period. Steal $5 and you get arrested. Steal $5 trillion and you get a yacht and a free pass. "Equal Justice Under the Law"?

  • at the rate things are going, even if you make smart decisions you could very well still end up in economic ruin- because everything is interconnected.

  • That damn liberal media is at it again! Can you believe that?

    /sarcasm

  • @BTSpr0 there is a difference between socialism and social democracy, which Europe is under the control of. but you ask why do people come here? cause the capitalists have fucked up the rest of the world worse than here, so that is why people from foreign countries are forced to come here for economic opportunities.

  • Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

  • @ronoc9 if the standard of living in America is low, than why do the people in Europe come here? They're probably sick of the socialism that devastates those countries.

  • @be4unvme

To say that the American people aren't feeling MASSIVE amounts of pain right mow, is INCREDIBLY ignorant! And let's really look at the substance of what you are saying: you consider it a "high standard of living" that you get to *eat*??? That's like saying, "You're not POOR! You own a TOASTER!" Now *THAT'S* sick and fucked up! I'd hate to see what you call a LOW standard of living!

And, BTW, dude, don't be such a corporate tool! After all, you aren't THAT moronic, are you???

  • @be4unvme

Dude, you are TERRIBLY ignorant! Shut up. Just because you get to eat EVERY night, doesn't mean that you aren't poor! I'm guessing you're either a kid who's got rich parents who's never really seen the world outside of their house before, or you're an equally disconnected person w/wealth.In fact, that is SOOOOOOO far removed from the experience of the acerage American at this point that it's quite litterally INSANE!

  • @ronoc9 standard of living is really high here in USA, even the poor have iphones, flatscreens, gucci clothes, eat meat everynight, access to clean water what low standard of living is that?
