mei ling I wish you would still talk this way the change is very unnecessary I mean she often visits china therefore she's very traditional and just play mgs1 she's so inspired by chinese philosophy.. MGS4 needs to be remake lol not just because of the accent but the mediocre boss designs lol B&B unit is laughable compare to the MGS1,2,3 set of bosses and gameplay too lol I don't want to play COD lol MGS4 made me TF!!!!??. I't not too late to re-imagine it stop listening to western gamers lol

I love all the original voices, especially Nastasha's. To everyone saying Mei Ling's accent doesn't make sense because she grew up in the US: In high school, I was friends with a girl whose parents were from China. She was born and raised in Canada, but she still had a Chinese accent. She spoke Cantonese at home and had a large family here, including some older relatives who lived in China before immigrating here. She still has an accent four years out of high school.

I grew up playing this game and never once thought anything like "LOLOL Funny accent haha weirdo she isn't like me, poke her with a stick!"
