Sonic Finder is based on a simple collision avoidance process. The heart of the robot is a 16 MHZ 32 KB microcontroller called the "Arduino Uno". The microcontroller is stackable and can be used easily with several prototyping boards and shields. The microcontroller can be programmed easily using C language and there are also several built in and tested code ready for use. The feedback sensor is an ultrasonic range finder from "Parallax" and uses ultrasonic sound waves to detect objects within a 3 meter range.
