Well he appeared to be moving along perfectly fine until you guys showed up on his ass - instead of courteously passing or at least keeping a safe distance.

I wouldn't go as far as call him dumbass just for trying this. He was going slow and wearing gear. Hell, I remember riding a moped year round and thru snow back before I got my license.

Now if he was out there on a crotch rocket popping wheelies in traffic (or even alone) in that kind of weather....

Actually, as a Bike rider...the guy on the bike realised that the ASS-HOLE Tail-gating him was a TOTAL Idiote & decided to pull over & stop to let the ASS-HOLE go by.....I HATE these types of Merde substantielle idiote drivers..

I got caught in a blizzard on my ex500 last year, was running a quick errand to the post office, fell over twice on the way home, wound up with a $666 repair bill.

On the plus side, I did learn some things about riding in snow, and by the end of winter, I could travel safely over black ice.
