@chipjumper They took the cannon when the arty left... I think that was a year or two prior. It used to be right in front of the flags.

Very, very old military tradition. Armed forces in general are known for tradition and customs like these.

Hey is C 2Amc still there? I was there from 98-99. Charlie rocks!!! It's all about Mustangs and Cmona's.
