X3 Terran Conflict: The Pirate Ambush

A Teladi TL class is on route to Interworlds,
Unknown to the Teladi captain a group of well armed Pirates are waiting for the perfect moment to ambush and loot the Freighter .
Although support did arrive for the freighter the pirates managed to destroy what they could not loot.

Nice video, althought I prefer non scripted games :) i'm creating some X3 video's myself (check my channel). Can you show me how to get those cameramovements so smooth? Is there a special "free camera" mod? or did you just use the ingame video enhancement goggles?

it's the pirate m7 - the carrack. It's rather hard to find in-game, and capping it is an absolute hell once you do. I would only go toe-to-to with this with either several fighter wings or another m7 backing me up - both if possible. You will have casualties.

Fucking Epic. Amazing job be very proud of yourself! :D. I just started x3 terran conflict (even though it has been out since 08') i'm trying out the Pirate lifestyle; gotta admit pretty challenging but very fun! any advice would be nice :D

@sipucke709 Not entirely true. Piloting an M7 personally means you can dodge his fire, and I've bested several carracks toe to toe. With a Cerberus no less, the shittiest M7 out there.

well nice video i'm a big fan of x3 machinima

But try to add the zoom in effect you get ingame with the optical enhancer in your movies.

nobody uses it but it's shakeyness really adds up :)
